Your old app's reward codes don't have to die with it

Switching loyalty apps always left one loose end: the discount codes your customers earned in the old app but never spent. Now Charm takes those over too — no export file needed, because the codes already live in Shopify.

  • Scan, don't upload — in Settings → Data migration, click Scan discount codes. Charm finds unused single-use reward codes right in your store, optionally filtered by the old app's code prefix (e.g. LL-).
  • See what's out there — the results show how many codes are unused, how many are linked to a customer, and the total outstanding value, broken down into fixed-amount, percentage, and free-shipping codes.
  • You pick the policy — convert fixed-amount codes to points of matching value (Charm even suggests a conversion rate from your own reward pricing), keep codes valid and show each customer theirs in the loyalty program, let them quietly run out, or deactivate them outright.
  • Safe to try — batches run in the background, previously handled codes are tracked so nothing is processed twice, and every run can be undone with one click.

Together with the self-serve migration, this closes the last gap in moving to Charm: balances, tiers, and the rewards still floating around out there.
