What you can do.

Connect Loox and Charm awards points when a review is published, with a bonus for the photo and video reviews Loox is built around. On Loox's Convert and Unlimited plans Charm listens to Loox's own signed webhook; on any other plan a Shopify Flow workflow does the job.

Setup

Five-minute setup.

  1. 1Open Charm → Settings → Integrations → Review apps → Loox
  2. 2Choose Loox webhook (Convert or Unlimited plan) or Shopify Flow, then click Generate setup
  3. 3Webhook: in Loox → Settings → API keys, add an endpoint with Charm's URL, pick the published and media-added events, and save the same validation key in both places
  4. 4Set the review reward and the photo/video bonus on the Post a product review rule

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need to configure anything on the Loox side?
Yes, once. Loox has no API for registering webhooks, so you add Charm's endpoint in Loox (Settings → API keys) and set a validation key. On plans without webhooks, you set up a Shopify Flow workflow from the example Charm shows.
When does a review earn points?
Through the Loox webhook, when Loox publishes the review. Through Shopify Flow, when the review is written.
What stops customers farming review points?
Each review earns once, you can cap rewarded reviews per customer per month or for life, and you can reward verified purchases only.
