Translate all texts in bulk with a CSV file
Charm ships its customer texts in 35 languages. For a language it doesn't ship, or for texts you rewrote in your own words, there is now one place to translate everything at once: Settings → Languages & translations.
See where the work is. Every store language gets a status: Ready, or Not translated with the number of texts still missing, plus how many of its texts are your own.
One file per language. Export a language as a CSV file with only the texts
that need translating, or all of them. Each row says where the text appears,
which variables such as {{points}} to keep, the text in your primary language
and the current translation. Texts with a number get a row per plural form,
with example numbers. Translate it in Excel, Google Sheets or DeepL, or send it
to a translator.
Review before anything is saved. The import finds the language from the file and shows every change next to the current text. A missing or renamed variable, a broken brace or a link in an e-mail is flagged, and you can fix it right in the review. A translation that matches Charm's own text keeps following Charm's default and your tone of voice.
Undo in one click. The last import can be undone, and any text you changed again since stays as you changed it.
The file covers the Loyalty Hub and account blocks, checkout, the thank you page, the landing page, the store widget, every loyalty e-mail, and the program and points name. Translate all texts opens the page from Customer copy, the widget, the landing page and Emails. The full walkthrough is in the guide.
