Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai — Charm now speaks thirty-two

Three more languages landed, and they close a gap that mattered: every language Shopify offers merchants for their admin is now a language Charm speaks too.

  • Traditional Chinese — for merchants and shoppers in Taiwan and Hong Kong, translated on its own terms rather than converted character-by-character from Simplified.
  • Vietnamese — with the word-order and tone-mark care the language demands; a machine translation gets these wrong silently, so we didn't machine-translate.
  • Thai — including the typography work Thai actually needs: taller line spacing so tone marks never clip, and dates kept on the calendar your Shopify admin uses.

That brings Charm to thirty-two languages, with full parity. Every one covers both sides of the app — the merchant admin and every customer surface: the widget, the account hub, checkout, lifecycle emails, and the POS extension at the counter. Storefront copy follows the shopper's Shopify Markets locale and the admin follows the language set in Shopify — without you writing a single translation.
