Store credit that can expire, referrals with a minimum, and credit back every cycle

A round of controls for the money side of the program.

  • Store-credit rewards can expire — set how many days the issued credit stays spendable and Shopify enforces the deadline itself. Off by default, and existing rewards keep behaving exactly as before; turning it on stops forgotten credit from accruing as liability forever
  • Minimum order value for referrals — a referral now only pays the referrer when the friend's order reaches the subtotal you set. A below-threshold order doesn't burn the referral: it stays open, so a later qualifying order still converts it
  • Monthly store credit for members — a new paid-membership benefit credits members back a set amount every time their subscription bills. A $10/month member who gets $10 back shops it in your store — usually above its face value
  • Redeem block in the discount slot — the checkout earn & redeem block can now also render right after the discount-code field, exactly where shoppers already look for "or pay with points". Both placements are available in the checkout editor; pick one
