Review rewards that follow your review app
Review rewards now read more of what your review app knows about a reviewer.
Verified purchases from more review apps. Only reward verified purchases is on for every new review rule, and more apps now tell Charm whether a reviewer bought the product:
- Okendo counts a reviewer marked Verified Buyer. A Verified Reviewer has only confirmed an email address and doesn't count.
- Fera counts reviews it marks as verified.
- REVIEWS.io counts reviews that carry an order, as reviews from its post-purchase invitations do.
- Loox counts reviews with an order ID. The example request body in Charm maps Loox's Order ID field for your Shopify Flow workflow.
- A custom webhook counts a review when it sends
verified: true.
Yotpo and Air Reviews can't tell Charm whether a reviewer bought anything, so Settings → Integrations and the review rule show a note about this setting for them.
Reviews through Shopify Flow. Loox, Yotpo and Air Reviews send reviews
through Shopify Flow. Charm tells these reviews apart by the reviewer's email
and the fields every delivery repeats, so no review ID is needed. With Air
Reviews, a customer earns once per product. The example bodies use Flow's
json filter, so quotes and line breaks in a review arrive intact.
Fera reviews reach the customer. Charm matches a Fera review to the Shopify customer by ID or by the reviewer's email.
Disconnecting ends the rewards. Once you disconnect a review app, its reviews earn nothing, whatever still sends them. When you disconnect Judge.me or REVIEWS.io, you can enter its private token or API key once, and Charm removes its webhooks there too without storing the key. Reconnecting REVIEWS.io or WebwinkelKeur reuses Charm's existing webhook.
Clearer integration settings. Settings → Integrations shows help under each field, including what Charm keeps of each key, masks private keys as you type them, and accepts the review webhook Secret as a Bearer token in custom requests.
