Review rewards get a limit per customer, and a verified-purchase requirement

Points for reviews had no limit: a customer who reviewed all seven items of one order collected seven rewards from a single purchase. Two new options on the Post a product review rule fix that.

  • Cap rewarded reviews per customer — a maximum per month, or for their lifetime. Reviews beyond the cap still publish in your review app; they just don't earn anything
  • Only reward verified purchases — a review earns only when your review app confirms the reviewer actually bought the product. Reviews from people who never ordered earn nothing. If the review app doesn't say either way, Charm treats it as unverified, so the requirement can only ever hold a bonus back, never hand one out by mistake
  • Bonus points for a photo or video are now a clear on/off switch instead of a number you had to remember to zero out. Anything you'd already entered is kept

Both are off by default, so nothing you currently pay out changes until you turn them on. You'll find them under Program → Ways to earn → Post a product review.
