Referrals no longer get lost at checkout — and can now pay out in product

The quietest way referrals were being lost is fixed, and both sides can now be thanked with something other than points or a discount.

• A referral counts even when the friend never signs in. Someone who arrives through a referral link and checks out as a guest used to slip through unattributed — the advocate got nothing, and neither of them knew why. Now the link is remembered all the way to the order, no account needed
• A free product as the referrer's reward. Pick a product and your advocate gets it free. Points, a discount, or a product: three ways to say thank you, and points and a discount still combine
• A gift for the friend, in their first order. The friend's reward can now include a product too. Choose whether it arrives in that first order for free, or as a code they use next time
• Refund protection covers the whole reward. The waiting period before a referral pays out now holds the discount code and the gift as well, not just points — so a refunded order can't cost you a product
