Referral rewards: monthly caps and tighter guardrails
The referral program picked up a set of controls for stores where referrals really move — so one power-referrer can't drain the budget, and every limit you set is actually enforced everywhere.
- Monthly reward caps — the per-customer cap on referral rewards can now reset each calendar month instead of counting all time. Reward your advocates every month without writing a blank check.
- The cap means the cap — a referrer at their limit now earns neither the points nor the referrer discount code. Previously the discount side could slip through.
- A cleaner settings page — the referral program page groups each control behind a simple switch: hold points before crediting (with the number of days to protect against refunds), discount expiry, reward caps, and milestone bonuses.
- Terms shoppers can read — code conditions like "expires after 30 days" and "usable up to 2 times" now show in the customer's own language, in all 29 of them.
