Running referrals or memberships without points? Charm stops mentioning points

Charm lets you run referrals or paid memberships with points switched off entirely. The storefront hadn't quite caught up: customers were seeing a "0 points" card, a launcher counting a balance, and VIP ladders promising to unlock at a point total their shop doesn't issue.

  • The widget stops talking about points — no balance, no point badge on the launcher. Your referral, discount code and membership sections carry on exactly as before
  • VIP tiers are hidden, on the loyalty page and in the customer's account, since tiers run on points
  • Referrals get proper referral wording instead of a "Ways to earn" section with one lonely tile in it
  • Past balances stay readable. If you ran points and later turned them off, customers can still see their history
  • Charm flags a setup that doesn't add up. A referrals-only shop that pays referrals in points is handing out a currency with nothing to spend it on; that's now called out with a one-click fix

One leak closed along the way: a program still being set up could show its punch cards and reward ladders to signed-in customers before launch if referrals happened to be switched on. It can't now.
