Points previews that match the order

What a shopper sees before paying matches what the order earns, and the minimums you set on rewards hold everywhere.

The checkout preview leaves out what won't earn. The points-to-earn figure in checkout leaves out gift cards, discounted items and products in excluded collections, the same items the order leaves out.

Product tags count in the cart and on product pages. The points estimate in the cart, the badges on product cards and the product page block read product tags the way checkout and the order do. A product in an excluded collection shows no product page block, and the cart estimate leaves out excluded items while the rest of the cart earns.

Free gifts keep their minimum purchase. Require a minimum purchase on a free product reward applies at checkout too. The redeem window shows "Minimum order not reached" and keeps Redeem disabled until the cart, gift included, gets there, so points are only spent on a gift that can be free. A gift from a very large collection covers up to 100 products and about 200 variants of it, still for one item.

One item from a collection, even when it's the only one. A collection discount set to Apply to one item only works with a single eligible item in the cart, keeps its minimum purchase and discounts the most expensive eligible item. On a very large collection the code covers up to 100 products and about 200 variants, still for one item.
