Improvements

Pets you can manage, birthday emails with the code, and tighter privacy

A round of care for the birthday family of rewards.

Pets are easier to manage. Tapping a pet in the Loyalty Hub or on your loyalty page opens its form. Customers can remove a pet with Remove in the form's footer, after a confirmation. The band's reward line knows the yearly limit from Pets per customer, and a pet added too close to its birthday is told its reward comes next year. New pet birthday rules send the reward 14 days ahead by default, so there is time to order a treat. Rules you already have keep their setting.

The code is in the email. When a birthday, name day, pet birthday or account anniversary reward is a discount code, the email now shows the code itself, ready to copy. Bonus points from pet and child birthdays name their source in the customer's own language in their points history.

Previews that look like the real thing. Previews and test sends in the email editor fill in sample values, names, amounts and links, for every email, including the name day, pet birthday and anniversary emails.

Privacy by default. When Shopify asks to erase a customer, Charm keeps only the customer ID as a record of the request, never an email address or phone number. When a store leaves, its customers' pets and children are erased with the rest of their data.

Also improved.

  • Customer imports look up email addresses in parallel, so large imports finish faster, and syncing tiers handles big imports in one go.
  • Info tooltips point at the ⓘ they belong to, on the storefront and in the admin preview.
