Pet birthdays: a reward for the one they actually shop for

Ask a pet shop's best customer about themselves and they will tell you about their dog. Now your program can ask too.

Customers add their pets. Add Celebrate a pet's birthday to your ways to earn, and customers can register their pets in the floating widget, on your loyalty page or in the account Loyalty Hub: a name, a birthday and which animal it is. A shop that only sells for dogs ticks just Dog, and the form stops asking.

Every pet gets its day. Each registered pet earns its own reward: bonus points, a free product, an amount or percentage off, or free shipping, delivered with the new Pet Birthday Reward email. The reward goes out a few days before the birthday, 10 by default, so a treat ordered with it arrives in time.

Hard to game. Pets per customer caps how many pets one customer can collect for, from 1 to 10, because nobody can check how many pets someone really has. Require advance setup makes a new pet wait on file before its first reward, and a saved birthday stays locked for a year, so nobody can move it around to collect twice.

A band for their pets. The Loyalty Hub and your loyalty page show a Your pets band with each pet's birthday, a silhouette of the animal and a countdown to the reward, and the floating widget lists them on its home screen.

Know who owns what. The Customers tab in Analytics gains Pet ownership: how many customers have a pet and how many pet birthdays fall in the next 30 days, split by animal. Pets also show on the customer page, where your team can add or correct them.
