Point values and reward costs — now per VIP tier
VIP tiers just went from "a badge with perks" to a lever on the whole program. Every earning rule and every reward can now differ by tier — how much it pays and what it costs.
- Different point values per tier — a birthday bonus can pay 1,500 points in the entry tier and 5,000 in the top one. Works for birthdays, name days, newsletter and SMS signups, social follows and custom actions; a switch in the rule editor reveals one field per tier, and empty fields inherit the base value
- Different reward costs per tier — the same voucher can cost loyal customers less. Limited-time reward sales stack on top: the customer always pays the lower price
- The shown price is the charged price, everywhere — widget, loyalty page, cart and checkout, POS registers, loyalty emails and the admin's redeem picker all quote the customer's own tier values, and the redemption engine charges exactly what was shown
The admin keeps the full picture in view: each tier card lists its rule adjustments, and the program summary breaks per-tier values into sub-bullets. One small bonus while we were in there — the points-multiplier row on a tier is now fully optional: remove it on any tier (entry tier included), or keep the base 1× row visible and it will show as a perk in your storefront too.
Guests and members without a tier simply see your base program — nothing changes until you decide it should.
