Name-day rewards — and greetings in the vocative

In Czech, Slovak, and Polish culture your name day — svátek, meniny, imieniny — is its own small celebration, a second date in the year worth marking. Charm now marks it for you.

A new name-day earning rule joins the birthday rule: pick the points or the discount, and every customer automatically earns it on their name day. There's nothing for shoppers to fill in — the date comes from their first name — the loyalty hub shows a friendly countdown, and a dedicated name-day email goes out on the day.

It's powered by Vocato, our free sister app, which knows the Czech, Slovak, and Polish name-day calendars. Install it and Charm detects it automatically — no keys, no setup — and a "Sync from Vocato" button backfills your existing customers in one pass.

Vocato brings one more thing: greetings in the grammatically correct vocative. Czech and Polish bend a name when you address someone, so "Ahoj, Jan" is subtly wrong — it should be "Ahoj, Jane" (and "Piotrze" in Polish). With Vocato connected, the loyalty hub greets every customer properly — on by default, with a toggle if you'd rather keep it plain.

Small touches. But they're the difference between a program that was translated and one that was written for your market.
