Reward every year a customer stays
A birthday rewards a date the customer hands you. An anniversary rewards something only your program knows: how long they have been part of it.
Celebrate a membership anniversary. Add the rule to your ways to earn and pick the reward: bonus points (200 by default), a free product, an amount or percentage off, or free shipping. Every year on the day the customer joined, Charm issues it on its own and sends the new Anniversary Reward email. Discount codes can carry their own validity window, and Start from a later anniversary lets the rule begin at year two or three if a first-year gift feels too early.
Customers imported with their join date from another app keep it, so a member of five years celebrates year five, not their first week on Charm. A customer who joined on 29 February celebrates on 28 February in other years.
Pause recurring rewards for inactive customers. With points expiry on, a new switch stops the automatic birthday, name-day and anniversary gifts for customers whose balance has already expired for inactivity. They start again as soon as the customer is active. A yearly gift should bring back people who might return, not keep landing in inboxes nobody opens.
