Memberships gain a new perk type: exclusive access. Gate pages, products, or collections so only members can see them — early drops, member pricing pages, a private lookbook, whatever deserves a velvet rope.

Enforcement happens on the storefront before paint, so non-members never get a flash of the gated content before it disappears. They see your join-the-program pitch instead.

Membership entitlements also sync outward, so you can use them everywhere else you segment:

• Customer tags and metafields — for theme logic and Shopify segments
• Klaviyo and Ecomail — for flows and campaigns that treat members differently
