The two easiest bonuses to game — signup and birthday — now have guardrails.

• Signup bonus timing. Choose when the welcome bonus lands: immediately on signup, after the first paid order, or after email opt-in. Awarding after a paid order or an opt-in stops throwaway accounts from farming the bonus, while stores that want the fast win can keep it instant. Defaults to immediate, so nothing changes unless you tighten it.
• Birthday bonus waiting period. New birthday rules require a customer's birthday to have been on file for a configurable window — 30 days by default — before they can claim, closing the "sign up, set birthday to tomorrow, claim" loophole. Existing rules keep their current behavior until you switch it on.
