Localization goes Nordic — on both sides of the app

This pass brings the two halves of Charm — the merchant admin and the customer-facing surfaces — closer than ever, with a Nordic expansion on both.

The merchant admin is now fully localized into fifteen languages, so the people running the program work in their own language too, not just their shoppers. Seven new admin languages landed:

  • Nordics — Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish
  • Rest of EU — Italian, Dutch, and Slovak

That's on top of the existing English, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Polish, and Portuguese. Each is a complete translation of the dashboard rather than a thin machine pass — menus, rule builders, analytics labels, the reward and campaign editors, onboarding — all of it follows the language set in Shopify admin.

On the customer-facing side, three of the Nordics landed too. The widget, the account hub, and the lifecycle emails now ship in fourteen languages — the original eleven (EN/DE/CS/FR/ES/PL/HU/SK/NL/IT/PT) plus Swedish, Danish, and Finnish — all localized per Shopify Markets locale, without you writing a single translation.

So a Swedish, Danish, or Finnish merchant can now run the whole program in their language and serve shoppers in theirs. (Norwegian stays admin-only for now — customer-facing is on the roadmap.)
